842 epoxy cloud iron anti rust paint, H53-31 iron red epoxy anti rust paint, H53-32 epoxy zinc phosphate anti rust paint, H53-33 epoxy aluminum tripolyphosphate anti rust paint, 546 epoxy asphalt super thick slurry anti rust paint, 846 epoxy asphalt thick slurry anti rust paint, chlorinated rubber anti rust paint or these types of topcoats.
But it cannot be used in conjunction with oil-based, alkyd, or polyester paints.
Construction precautions
The paint film of zinc rich primer will exhibit zinc salts (i.e. basic zinc carbonate, also known as white rust) on the surface after being left for a long time, so it should not be exposed for a long time before the topcoat. If a longer coating interval is required, it is recommended to apply 842 epoxy cloud iron anti rust paint as a sealing coating as soon as possible to reduce the workload of secondary rust removal
After being placed in a clean indoor environment for several months or in a clean outdoor environment for 14 days, zinc salts will not form on the surface of the paint film. However, in industrial atmospheres or marine climates, zinc salts are quickly produced, so the interval between coats should be minimized as much as possible
If zinc salts have already formed on the surface of the H06-4 epoxy zinc rich anti rust paint film, a cleaning grade sandblasting or mechanical rust removal method should be used to remove all zinc oil and dirt before applying the next primer
Used as a rust proof primer for steel structures such as large bridges, port machinery, heavy machinery, oil extraction and mining equipment, buried pipelines, hydraulic steel gates, factory steel structures, outer walls of oil storage tanks, gas tanks, ship hulls and decks above the waterline, etc. It is the best primer for epoxy intermediate layer paint and epoxy topcoat.
