The Anqing Yangtze River Highway Bridge is located between Yingjiang District and Dadukou Town in Dongzhi County, Anqing City. The total investment of the Anqing Yangtze River Highway Bridge is 1.3174 billion yuan, and the entire bridge is designed according to the standards of a two-way four lane highway. Located in the Anqing section of the Yangtze River, with a total length of 5985.66 meters and a main bridge of 1040 meters, it is the 35th bridge on the Yangtze River, 164 kilometers above the Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge and 96 kilometers below the Tongling Yangtze River Bridge. The Anqing Yangtze River Highway Bridge is the second Yangtze River highway bridge located 800 miles upstream of the Anhui River in Anhui Province. It is a key project of the national "Tenth Five Year Plan", an important component of the national expressway network, an important part of the "Four Verticals and Eight Horizontals" expressway network in Anhui Province, and a transportation hub for the He'an Expressway and Anjing Expressway (Anqing Jingdezhen). It is a transportation hub connecting the Beijing Tianjin Hebei, Central Plains urban agglomerations, Yangtze River Midstream urban agglomerations, Pearl River Delta urban agglomerations, and the west coast urban agglomerations of the Taiwan Strait. It is also an important highway hub center in southwestern Anhui Province.
