Shanghai Waigaoqiao Power Generation Co., Ltd. is a company established based on the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Power Plant. The Shanghai Waigaoqiao Power Plant is a key project of the national "Eighth Five Year Plan" and also the project with the highest investment in the first batch of the top ten infrastructure projects in Pudong, Shanghai. This project has a total investment of 5.4 billion RMB, and will be constructed with 50% investment each from Shanghai Shenneng Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd.
